I'm Vijain — a Strength and Conditioning Coach based in Melbourne with a Bachelor's degree in High Performance Sport. I've worked with state-level, semi-professional and professional athletes and I bring those same evidence-based methods to everyday guys who want to look and feel their best.
I was the short, skinny kid with no confidence and no clue. I hated photos. I hated mirrors. I avoided both for years.
A mate of mine started going to the gym and dragged me along with him. I started doing push-ups in my bedroom at 16, got a weights set for Christmas, and spent the next few years watching endless YouTube — AthleanX, Jeff Nippard, Mike Thurston — just trying to figure it out. I tried so many different diets and programs. Most of them didn't work. Some of them wasted months of my time.
But slowly, things started to click. I got stronger. My body started changing. And for the first time in my life, I actually felt confident in myself.
That passion led me to study a Bachelor's degree in High Performance Sport. During my placement I trained athletes at a local gym and at a professional VFL club — applying the same evidence-based methods used at the elite level to real people with real goals.
Everything I do now is built from what I learned through those years — the science, the experience, and every mistake I made along the way. If I can save you the years of trial and error it took me, that's exactly what I'm here to do.
